Visit to Ravla Khempur "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel"

The title ‘Ravla’ in Rajasthan refers to the home of a village chieftain. In earlier days, the Ravla was the focal point of the entire village. Functions such as village welfare, collection of taxes, administration of law and order, and the initiation of festivals took place in the Ravla.
The Ravla Khempur has a passionate history of true Mewari valour that dates back to 1628 AD.
In order to avenge the killing of his brother, an enemy plotted to assassinate the young Prince Jagat Singh of Mewar. His plans were overheard by Khemraj Dadhivadia whilst having his sword sharpened in the market place. Khemraj didn’t utter a word of what he had heard to anyone and left quietly. On the fateful day when the young prince was out hunting, the would-be assassin charged up towards him, intent on murder. When the deadly blade of the enemy’s sword was inches away from the prince, Khemraj leapt out from nowhere, and with a single stroke of his sword, beheaded the attacker.
To honour this gallant act, Mewar’s grateful Maharana rewarded Khemraj Dadhivadia with a village and named it Khempur.
Ravla Khempur is a haven for horse lovers. The stables house high pedigree Marwari and Kathiawari horses. The Ravla horses are well trained and guests have the option of exploring Khempur’s surroundings on horseback.
Ravla Khempur is also the “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a 2012 British comedy-drama film directed by John Madden and written by Ol Parker. Eklingji in Udaipur is famous for its 108-temples complex. Built on a shore of a small lake surrounded by hills it is also known as Kailashpuri or the abode of Shiva.
Eklingji temple, Udaipur was built by Bappa Rawal who is said to have received religious discourses here from a sage called Harita Rishi, on the side of a 72-roomed jain temple which had a four-faced idol of Adinathji , the first Jain saint. First built in 728AD , the main temple is made in white marble, the four faced image of Mahadev (an icon of Lord Shiva) made of black marble is worshipped as Eklingji. The four-faces represent Brahma facing west, Vishnu facing north, Maheshwar facing south and 'Surya' (Sun) facing the east. The flat top of the composite idol is covered with a Yantra, a mystic symbolic drawing, standing for the ultimate reality.

Nagda is a small town in the Indian state of Rajasthan. In the 6th century, Nagda was found by Nagaditya, the fourth Mewar King. Initially it was known as Nagahrida and served as the capital of Mewar. Before long, the place came under the province of Sisodias. Nagda is located beside Bagela Lake at a distance of 23 kms in the northwest of Udaipur. Nagda is comprised of many small and big temples, but the main attraction is its 'Sas-Bahu' temple.
Nagda is actually famous for this unusual temple that dates back to the 10th century. The term 'Sas-Bahu' suggests 'Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law' respectively. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it is made in two structures, one by a mother-in-law and another, by a daughter-in-law. The main entrance to the temples is made through a door that has carved lintels and a multi-lobed arch at its center. Both the structures are laid out on a same plan having an altar, a mandapa (columned prayer hall) with projections and a porch.
The temple of Sas is comparatively larger than that of the Bahu. The 'Bahu' temple has an octagonal ceiling, which is adorned with eight beautifully carved intricate female figures. The 'Sas' temple has a torana (archway) in its front and it is believed that the image of the Lord Vishnu was swung from the torana along with hymns in the praise of the lord on ceremonial occasions. Both the temples are constructed on a common platform facing towards the east direction. The temple is credited for having wonderful carvings.
These delicate carvings are acknowledged to be imbibed from the incidents of 'Ramayana' (the Indian epic). The walls of the shrine are usually plain and not engrossed with much work, but the projection is simply mind blowing with its exquisite sculptures. The sculptures are made in two steps, one encircling the other. On the first step, images of Lord Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu are carved and on the other, there are images of Rama, Balarama and Parashurama.
The participants would be given bottled water and hot delicious Indian Masala chai and cookies. We will end the tour at a beautiful three star resort where participants can enjoy the sun setting behind the ancient Aravali mountains. The participants would be free to explore their wide menu(At their own cost)

I assume full and complete responsibility for checking and confirming any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination and all safety or security conditions at those destinations.
Release of Liability: As lawful consideration of, and as part of the payment for, the right to participate in the tour, and as part of the payment for the services arranged for me by Chandra Niwas Travels, I HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN WELFARE AND ASSUME ALL OF THE ABOVE RISKS, INCLUDING BOTH THOSE KNOWN AND UNKNOWN TO ME.
As lawful consideration of, and as part of the payment for, the right to participate in the tour, and as part of the payment for the services arranged for me by Chandra Niwas Travels, I HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS FOREVER Chandra Niwas Travels, their owners, employees, shareholders, affiliated entities, employees, agents, representatives, officers, directors, associates, volunteers, successors and assigns from and against any liability, actions, causes of actions, debts, suits, claims and demands of any and every kind and nature whatsoever which I now have or which may hereafter arise out of or in connection with my tour or participation in the activities arranged for me by Chandra Niwas Travels.
I AGREE THAT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL SERVE AS A COMPLETE RELEASE AND EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK for myself, all members of my family and all minors traveling with me, my and their heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives. It is my intention to fully assume all risks associated with this tour and to release Chandra Niwas Travels from any and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification: I further agree to “indemnify” (meaning to defend and to pay or reimburse) Chandra Niwas Travels against any claim by any person, including minors, arising in whole or in part from an injury or other loss suffered or caused by me in connection with the expedition or my participation in the Adventure Activities. Binding Arbitration: I agree that any dispute concerning, relating, or referring to this agreement, Chandra Niwas Travels tour brochures or any other materials that concern my tour, the tour itself, or any claim for damages due to injury or death which occurs during or in connection with my tour, shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration. The binding arbitration shall take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, in accordance with the local rules. Such proceedings will be governed by substantive (but not procedural) India law. The arbitrator and not any federal, state or local court or agency shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, conscionability, or formation of this contract, including but not limited to any claim that all or any of this contract is void or voidable.
Knowing and Voluntary Execution: I have carefully read and understand the provisions and legal consequences of this agreement, and I hereby agree to all of its conditions. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
I understand that in calculating the cost of the tour, CNT has relied on my consent to these terms and their enforceability. Without this agreement, the tour cost would have been higher or, alternatively, CNT would not be able to offer these services.
I understand the legal consequences of this Agreement, including A) releasing Chandra Niwas Travels from all liability on my behalf, B) promising not to sue on my behalf, C) assuming all risks of participation in the tour, and D) indemnifying Chandra Niwas Travels. I understand that I am responsible for the obligations and the acts as described in this document. I agree to be bound by the terms of this document. I have read this agreement in its entirety, and I am accepting and agreeing with it freely. No other representations concerning the legal effect of this document have been made to me.
